SCIFI RAZOR

Several years ago I was using a Web Translator called Dialectizer. This wasn’t just any translator but one that translated entire pages into Redneck, Jive, Elmer Fudd and more. What was great fun for myself apparently was not so funny to some corporations.

To say some of these corporations were ticked off would be putting it mildly. The creator of the site Samuel Stoddard was reported as saying, “It is not worth it to me to sacrifice my peace of mind and fend off the continual onslaught of distraught corporations and Webmasters threatening legal action.”

I have no idea what happen since then but Dialectizer is back. Most likely there was the trip to court where the corporations are told money does not equal law. The sad truth though is it usually does.
